HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY  

N-Force Crane and Equipment Ltd. is committed to providing a safe workplace and environment for its employees and customers. Management, supervisors, employees and subcontractors must share the responsibility to successfully achieve this goal.  N-Force Crane and Equipment Ltd. has prepared and will maintain a Safety Program in accordance with industry standards and practices.

 The Safety Program includes:

-   Training Employees

-   Use of government-approved personal protection equipment

-   Conduct formal and informal inspections to identify, correct and eliminate unsafe working conditions or practices

-   Investigation of all incidents and accidents

-   Enforcement of safety policies and practices

 Shared Responsibilities:

-   Supervisors are responsible for demonstrating and promoting safety

-   Employees are responsible to themselves and all others at the workplace to comply with and obey all rules and regulations.

 Safety is everyone’s obligation. By working together we can achieve a safe workplace while maintaining a high standard of performance and the respect of fellow workers.

N-Force Crane and Equipment Ltd. recognizes that they are usually a sub-contractor and, as such, all employees are required to familiarize themselves with not only the N-Force Crane and Equipment Ltd. Safety Policies but also the General Contractors Safety Policies and Procedures.

N-Force is an Alberta COR certified company, certificate # 20080801-8415.

Kevin Hughes is our resident safety officer. Kevin has completed the following courses through Alberta Construction Safety Association;

  • WHIMIS train the trainer #1877305
  • Peer Auditor # 1914082

N-Force conducts weekly safety meetings where the operators participate in discussions on proper and safe rigging practices, rigging formulas, and specific safety issues.
